John Andrews Road Race

A Field of over 70 riders from all over the country gathered in Langport for what turned out to be a super fast race with average speeds of 27mph for 65 miles.

Throughout the race http://www.team-certini.co.uk/ dominated sending one rider after the other up the road. Jason Flooks attacked 4 times in one lap with James Smith bouncing off him. Every time Jason got caught James would attack.

However, the biggest attack of the afternoon came from Gary Andrews on the Upton Climb, this was strong enough to obliterate the pack. This was enough to allow Flooksy to get away with Hitchens (MDCC) and others including legendary Julius Jennings.

This was to be the winning the break with Hitchens just outsprinting Flooks and Jennings. James Smith went on a Kamikaze attack and stayed away to gain 10th in his third race in a week.

Probably missed the attack cause Team Tor sat at the back or pulled out. So Jon Ellis said!
