TOM HAWKINS - CERTINI DENIED IN THE LAST MILE!!
Kairn Stone and Certini dominated to-days race with Kairn being in a breakaway for almost 40 miles. To be caught at mile 49 in a 50 mile race. Certini controlled the bunch throughout the day but did not have the big guns fresh at the line to finish the job.
